About Western Fitness

Western Fitness Equipment was established in 1978 at a time when the fitness industry consisted of sporting good stores dedicating a small amount of their floor space to exercise equipment. This lack of specialization limited the quality of the equipment available. Western Fitness soon recognized from a business and consumer perspective there was a niche for better products. With this understanding, a true specialty fitness store was established. Today, Western Fitness Equipment is recognized within the industry as Canada's oldest specialty fitness store.

Western Fitness's focus on quality fitness equipment has earned it a strong reputation in the retail and commercial areas of the industry.

Consumer Choice Awards is new to Saskatchewan in 2010 and polls the province for both nominations and feedback on listed companies from those nominations. It covers topics that range from how the customer feels about the quality of product, the service received, value, and customer care. It is that reputation and dedication to providing quality products and service that has earned Western Fitness the Consumers Choice Award for 2010 and again for the second year in 2011.
